| Middle of summer:
Taking a psychology class w/Iris. Mr. Ekero, the teacher, is really
funny. He's always saying "Boo you!" and "Let me dance for you!"
It seems like Iris and I are reading the classics this summer. She read
"Pride and Prejudice" and now "1984". She even wants to read "King
Lear"! If only she knew how boring and depressing it is.
I've been going through the Jane Austen novels. I've read all of them
except "Northanger Abbey" and "Mansfield Park". I always go on a
classics kick during the summer...I wonder why. Maybe it's because I
feel like I've read all the good contemporary fiction. At least until
Harry Potter 6 comes out.
Also watching lots of Buffy this summer. I watched all of season 6,
part of seasons 1, 2, 3, and 4. Even though Iris thinks it's bad, like
soda, except scary too.  I don't like Spike, Angel's so much better,
except when he's Angelus. But then in "Angel", he's dating Cordelia?
It's all so confusing. And evil Willow, I don't believe it.
I'm avoiding my AP Gov't summer work. It's so hard and long. For AP
Lit, I bought all the books, but didn't start reading them yet. I
want to avoid reading "Great Expectations" until the last minute. At
least I read "Jane Eyre" before and the other two books are pretty
short.
I just realized I missed Iron Chef tonight. They replaced that Japanese
chef Marimoto that Iris likes with Wolfgang Puck. Now they have 4
chefs, including one lady. Isn't that cool?
Did you know there's a magazine for Asian American women called Audrey?
Why Audrey? That's not Asian sounding. Did they name it after Audrey
Hepburn? Who knows?

NRA...that's scary...so's Zack), and Friends reruns.

| I'm totally getting creamed at internet reversi as we speak. It's very sad. My opponent has taken three of the corners. I have a strange craving for sushi and Mexican food. Have a nice summer!
